Spring in Salmon Arm is a time of music, events, and fun. The Salty Dog Enduro Bike Fest fills the hills with mountain bike riders from across Western Canada. Golf enthusiasts can choose from five championship courses within a 40km radius with numerous executive and par 3’s options. For the adventurous spirits, there's the Shuswap Ultra. This event takes trail runners through various forested routes in the area. The music scene also comes alive during spring as talented acts take over event venues across town offering an incredible range of music to suit any taste. The action doesn’t stop there: the Salmon Arm Writers Festival, Word on the Lake, features award-winning authors, poets, song writers and literary agents. Weekly Farmers Markets provide outdoor shopping experiences for visitors while enjoying the warmth of springtime in Salmon Arm!
